2023 CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY

The Marshall Police Department sponsors the Citizen Police Academy (CPA) with the goal of educating the residents of Marshall on the operations of the department. This is accomplished through a series of lectures and hands-on activities on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. for six weeks beginning on September 5, 2023. Attendance of each session is required for course completion. 

The CPA is led by Police Officers whose current assignments are directly involved in the policing activities covered in their segment of the academy. The CPA is conducted at the Marshall Police Department located at 2101 East End Blvd. North. 

Citizens of Marshall over 18 years of age who successfully complete a background investigation are eligible to attend. Those with certain disqualifications will be ineligible.
