Consider donating a few hours of your time to making a difference where you live. The City of Marshall has many opportunities for residents to serve on various boards and committees. Most board members are appointed by the City Council. Terms are typically two or three years and begin in January. Service is strictly voluntary, and there is no compensation. Appointments and reappointments are customarily made in November. An individual may serve on two (2) City boards or committees at a time.
