Establishing New Service

New service can be established during regular office hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm) at the Water Billing Office located at City Hall:
401 S Alamo Boulevard
Marshall, TX, 75670

In most cases, your water service will be connected the same day if you establish service before 3 pm.

Necessary Documentation

The applicant will need to provide valid picture ID (driver’s license or ID card) and their Social Security Number (SSN) for identification purposes.

Outstanding Balances

If the applicant owes an outstanding balance at a previous address, the outstanding balance and a new deposit will be required before service can be connected.

If the address the applicant is applying for has an outstanding balance, the applicant will need to have the owner or property manager provide the following information:

  • Who was the previous tenant?
  • When did the previous tenant move?
  • Where did the previous tenant move?
  • Who is the new tenant?
  • When did the new tenant move in?

The new tenant may establish service upon completion of the above information.
