From March to November, the second Saturday of each month combines food and shopping, art and musical entertainment, and classic cars in historic downtown Marshall, Texas!
Shopping begins at 7 am with Market on the Square at Telegraph Park. Marshall’s downtown shops and restaurants offer food and drink throughout the day as well as unique gift and home furnishings, antiques, linens, fashion clothing, and accessories. Many shops observe extended hours of operation.
Various independent arts and crafts vendors pop up throughout the day on Second Saturday and showcase an ever-changing array of merchandise. There is no cost or registration required at this time. Vendors may set up on the sidewalks along the 200 and 300 blocks of North Washington. Vendors should be mindful of surroundings and avoid blocking ADA ramps or entrances to buildings. Hosted by Rusty Lugnuts, the car show runs from 5 pm to sunset. North Washington Avenue closes to through traffic at 3 pm to allow set-up time for the local hot rods, classic cruisers, motorcycles, and pride-and-joy hand-polished collections. There is no restriction or classification for vehicles so anything goes! While there is no entry fee, registration is required. Participants may register the day of. Twilight Tunes (postponed until 2021)
The Twilight Tunes concert series begins around 7 pm. Bring your lawn chairs for a free outdoor concert at Telegraph Park located in the heart of downtown, the birthplace of Boogie Woogie.
