New Resident Guide

The City of Marshall is honored by your move to Marshall and Harrison County.

This list is intended to assist you with a smooth transition to your new home. If you need additional information, please contact the Chamber at (903) 935-7868.

Water/Sewer Service – City of Marshall, 401 S. Alamo Blvd., 903-935-4435

The Water Billing Department accepts cash, personal check, money order, MasterCard, and Visa. MasterCard and Visa are also accepted via the internet at https://paywaterbill.marshalltexas.net/

You may sign up to have your account drafted out of your checking or savings account by filling out an ACH form at the Water Billing Office. After processing your information, you will need to pay the first bill for an automatic draft at the Water Billing Office. All subsequent bills will be automatically drafted on your due date. You will receive a Water Bill for your records showing "Bank Drafted - Do Not Pay".

Make a payment in person: City Hall – Water Billing Division 401 S. Alamo Blvd. Marshall, Texas 75670 For our customer’s convenience, a drive-thru is located on the west side of City Hall for payments only and your bill is required. All other inquiries will need to be processed inside the office for your account to be reviewed. There is also a night drop at the drive-thru for after-hour payments.

Payments may be mailed to City of Marshall Water Billing P O Box 698 Marshall, Texas 75671 Please note that all returned payments will incur a $30.00 processing fee. WATER BILLING OFFICE HOURS Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Driver’s License – New State Resident – As a new resident of the State of Texas, you are required to obtain a new license within 90 days from the date of your move. For more information, visit http://www.txdps.state.tx.us A new. license may be obtained at the Texas Department of Public Safety, 5215 W. Loop 390 North, Marshall, 903-938-2171

Vehicle Registration – New State Resident – As a new resident of the State of Texas, you have 30 days from the date of your move to register your vehicle in Texas. For more information, please visit http://www.txdmv.gov A new. vehicle registration may be obtained at the Harrison County Tax Office, 200 W. Houston Street, Room 108, 903-935-8411
