Garbage Collection

The City of Marshall has an exclusive franchise with Allied Waste Services for refuse pickup.  If your refuse is not picked up, please call Allied Waste Services at 1-800-678-7274 to report the problem. 

Residential Garbage Collection Schedule:  Monday & Thursday - north of Houston St., and east of Hwy. 59; Tuesday & Friday - south of Houston St., and west of Hwy. 59.  Recycled items are picked up city-wide each Wednesday.
 
The City of Marshall has a Convenience Station located at 2300 Five Notch Road for resident use.  The Convenience Station is open Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm and is closed Sunday and Monday.
 
Materials accepted include:  small appliances, furniture, clothes, roofing materials, and general household items.
 
Materials not accepted include, but are not limited to:  tires, batteries, bagged household garbage, large appliances, air conditioners, large concrete blocks, paint, oil, dead animals, and hot water heaters.

"Free Dump Day" for residents of the City of Marshall usually occurs four (4) times per year.  This is a great way for the citizens of Marshall to beautify their neighborhoods and our city as a whole.  Please note that proof of residency is required and limitations are placed on the types of materials that will be accepted.
