Strategic Planning Citizen Survey
Marshall – The City of Marshall is seeking citizen input in preparing the 2015 – 2020 Strategic Plan. They will be collecting resident input through surveys using various methods of participation. A random sample of 800 residents will receive a hard copy survey in the mail with a self addressed stamped envelope. A more detailed survey will be available online for all residents wishing to take part in the process.
The goal of the strategic planning process is to identify five key areas the City of Marshall needs to focus on improving over the course of the next five years. By utilizing a citizen survey, we hope to ensure that the goals set forth by the City Commission are aligned with the needs of our citizens.
City residents are encouraged to participate in this survey process to provide input on developing the City’s Strategic Plan.
You may take the survey online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/CityofMarshall. If you do not have access to a computer, one can be picked up from the following locations: Water Billing Department in Marshall City Hall, 401 S. Alamo St.; and Marshall Public Library, 300 S. Alamo St.
Through the strategic planning process, we will identify the city’s vision and mission statement, what the City wants for our future, and what immediate challenges need to be addressed in the five year plan.
The strategic plan is expected to be finalized by January 1, 2016, at the beginning of the City’s new fiscal year.
