PRESS RELEASE - Prisoner Escaped
Marshall Police Department prisoner escapes from Custody
On March 19, 2015 at 9:35 pm Isaiah Jackson, B/M, 18 years of age was being transported to HCSO charged with two bond forfeiture warrants. Jackson was being brought out of a MPD patrol unit upon arrival at the Harrison County Jail, and escaped from MPD custody on foot. Jackson fled westbound and was not immediately located. Isaiah Jackson was handcuffed behind his back at the time of his escape and may have walked his cuffs to the front of his body or even removed them by the time of this release. It is believed that Jackson will attempt to return to his residence in the Ryan’s Crossing apartment complex located at 1509 MLK Blvd., Marshall, Texas.
Jackson is a person of interest in an unrelated incident and had been arrested on the outstanding bond forfeitures earlier in the day.
Chief Jesus Eddie Campa said, “The Marshall Police Department needs the cooperation
and support of our community in locating Mr. Jackson. We believe him to be a dangerous fugitive and will not stop looking for him until he is returned to custody. Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911 immediately.”
