PRESS RELEASE - Emergency Stage 4 Water Conservation Rescinded
IMMEDIATE NEWS RELEASE – CITY OF MARSHALL, TEXAS – RESCINDS STAGE 4 WATER EMERGENCY
MARSHALL WATER UTILITIES DEPARTMENT
April 08, 2015
Notice is hereby given to all Residents, Businesses, and Water Districts connected to the City of Marshall that the Water Utilities Department is herebyrescinding the previously issued Stage 4 Water Conservation Measures.
The water break issue at the Marshall Water Plant on East End Blvd. has been bypassed and the Water Plant is back in operation. There was never an issue with the safety of the water, just our ability to treat additional water.
While the emergency has passed, we asked that our water customers exercise common sense water conservation measures and not use excessive amounts of water for at least 24 hours, so we can replenish the water levels in our storage tanks and water towers. We appreciate your cooperation during the water emergency earlier today and apologize for any inconvenience.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the Water Utilities Department at 903-935-4487.
