NEWS RELEASE: MPD Seeks Group Of Walmart Thieves

The Marshall Police Department is asking for the public’s help with identifying a group of thieves. On July 21, 2017 at approximately 2 a.m. three men and two women walked into Walmart in the 1700 block of East End Boulevard North and filled their shopping carts with about $2,000 worth of merchandise. The group then left the store through an emergency exit without paying for their items. The suspects were caught on surveillance video loading the merchandise into a gold or tan colored GMC Yukon before leaving the scene. It is believed that this group of individuals is from the Shreveport, Louisiana area.
