NEWS RELEASE: MPD Seeks Coin Machine Burglar

 

 

The Marshall Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify the man responsible for burglarizing a coin operated machine. On April 23 at approximately 4:08 a.m. surveillance video shows a man casually walk into the A&W Coin Laundry in the 400 block of N. Lafayette Street. Once inside, the unidentified man reached into his bag and retrieved a tool. The suspect then approached one of the coin operated machines and forcibly opened the machine. He removed the coin container, emptied the coins into his bag and replaced the container in the machine before leaving. The man is described as a white male who was wearing a batman shirt, dark colored pants, a cap and tennis shoes. The vehicle he was driving is believed to be a 2015-2017 model Ford F-150 crew cab.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the man seen in the video is urged to call the Marshall Police Department at 903-935-4575.
