A Marshall man is facing charges for allegedly committing two robberies last month. The armed robberies occurred on March 1 at the Coin Laundry A&W located in the 400 block of North Lafayette Street and on March 13 at the Alon Food Fast Fina located in the 200 block of West Grand Avenue. Marshall Police released surveillance video from the Alon Food Fast Fina incident that showed the suspect, who was wearing a witch mask, enter the store and demand money from the clerk while holding the victim at gunpoint. Thanks to tips from the public, Marshall Police Detectives gathered information that a man who goes by the name “Dre” was the person involved in the armed robberies. The suspect, identified as 19-year-old Kiandre Handy, was arrested by patrol officers on April 18. Handy was booked into the Harrison County Jail where he is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery. His bond for the aggravated robbery charges is set at a total of $300,000.
