An East Texas man is behind bars for his alleged role in burglarizing coin operated machines in multiple jurisdictions in Texas. Charles Michael Beathard, 35, of Pollok, was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 11, in Longview, Texas. Beathard was initially booked into the Gregg County Jail on warrants out of Polk County, Jasper PD and Livingston PD.
Earlier this week, Marshall Police released surveillance video of an individual burglarizing a coin operated machine on August 29 at Moore’s Coin Laundry located in the 700 block of West Pinecrest Drive. After being interviewed by detectives with the Marshall Police Department, investigators were able to positively identify Beathard as the suspect captured on video during the Moore’s Coin Laundry incident. Beathard will be charged with one count of burglary of a coin operated machine for his role in that crime.
Beathard is also facing similar charges in several other jurisdictions. Beathard’s initial warrants from Polk County, Jasper PD and Livingston PD included burglary of a building, burglary of a coin operated machine and criminal mischief.
