Fire Chief Reggie Cooper visits Washington Early Childhood Center during Black History Month as an example of African-American Men leading in the community.  Chief Cooper was invited to visit the students and speak with them about his career.  He spoke to the students about their dreams and aspirations for the future, telling them that following simple and basic instructions in life would leave them with endless possibilities. "Be good, be kind to others and stay in school." Chief Cooper encouraged the students.

"We enjoyed Chief Cooper coming to visit with the students today.  It is always good to have our community leaders speak with our students, after all they will be the next generation of citizens in our city." commented Crystal Pritchard, Head Start Teacher.

"WECC enjoyed Chief Cooper's Visit, He encouraged our boys and girls to be good citizens, make good grades, and love learning" said Detrice Fisher, Principal of WECC.
