City of Marshall addresses Service Line Warranties of America letter confusion
Some Marshall residents have recently received a letter in the mail detailing a partnership that the City of Marshall has with Service Line Warranties of America.
The purpose of the letter is to explain a warranty program offered by Service Line Warranties of America that provides protection for repairs to homeowners’ exterior water line in the event that damage occurs to the customer’s portion of the water line that runs from their home to the city’s line. This is a voluntary program and those interested in enrolling in the program should contact Service Line Warranties of America directly at 1-844-257-8795 or fill out the form at the bottom of the letter that was received.
In addition, if residents choose to enroll in the program, the cost will not be added to their water bill, but will pay SLWA directly for the cost of the benefit.
Questions about the program should be directed to SLWA at the number above or by going to: www.slwofa.com.
