City issues boil water notice to customers affected by water main break near Rosborough Springs
The City of Marshall has issued a Boil Water Notice to customers affected by yesterday’s water main break at the intersection of Rosborough Springs and West Meredith. Customers in this area should boil their water for two (2) minutes prior to human consumption. Crews are currently in the process of fixing the break and restoring service.
Yesterday morning, city crews were making a repair to a water main at the intersection of Rosborough Springs and West Meredith; a gas main that was not marked was damaged during excavation. At this time, the intersection of Rosborough Springs and West Meredith remains blocked off, and Rosborough Springs from Georgetown to West Emory is blocked as well while Centerpoint Energy continues to make repairs to the gas line and city crews work to repair the water main.
Customers in this area may continue to experience low to no water pressure.
