Overgrown Lot

One of the following two circumstances must be found for a lot to be considered to be overgrown:

a.         If the lot is less than three acres in size, any grass and weeds anywhere on the property over 12 inches in height is a violation of City code.

b.         If the property is three acres or more in size, any grass and weeds over 12 inches in height within 25 feet of any portion of a property line that is within 200 feet of a structure is a violation of City code.

c.          This also includes sidewalks, ditches, and rights-of-way.  Lots must be cleaned to the EDGE OF THE STREET and include any hills or banks; from property line to property line.
