and are subject to change without notice. We will update this rate sheet as quickly as a change is
officially approved.

The Marshall Convention Center

Booking Procedures
1. Rental inquiries can be made by phone, email or in person with one of the Convention Center
office staff.
2. No dates or space will be considered CONFIRMED without a 50% Building/room rental
down payment (deposit) and a signed contract. This must be completed within 10 days from the
booking/application date to confirm event space.
3. Customers may request dates and space that another customer has tentatively booked;
however, the first customer will be contacted and given seventy-two (72) hours to pay the
deposit and sign the contract. If this is not done the new customer will have the opportunity to
pay a deposit to secure the requested date.
4. Weekend events are non-refundable for Convention Center Rentals. All other cancellations
must be in writing. To receive a refund of a weekday deposit you must cancel forty-five (45)
business days prior to your event date.
5. Annual events must inform the Convention Center Manager by application for those dates and
spaces for the following year. If no application is given those dates will be put in open status.
6. A minimum of one (1) off duty, uniformed, City of Marshall Policeman, Harrison County
Deputy/Constable or State Trooper may be required for every one hundred (100) persons
anticipated for any open dance or party. Building management may also require police for other
events as deemed necessary. Only off duty officers within the same entity may work events
together where security is required at the Marshall Convention Center (unless approved by
Convention Center Management). All fees are the total responsibility of the event sponsor.
7. All dates and spaces are CONFIRMED only with a deposit and signed contract.
8. All Convention Center rental balances should be paid in full ten (10) business days prior to
event date.
