William "Buddy" Power - District 3
William 'Buddy" Power was elected to his first term of City Commissioner in the
year of 2007. On May 22, 2008 William "Buddy" Power was chosen Chairman of the Commission,
or commonly called "Mayor of Marshall, Texas." William "Buddy" Power owns and operate
Rolling Acres Water Systems in Marshall, Texas. He has been the proud owner of Rolling Acres Water
Systems since August 1995.
William "Buddy" Power began his career as a Party Chief and Engineer Technical IV in 1959. In
1969 William "Buddy" Power perused other work endeavors with Baremill Planner. Subsequently William
"Buddy" Power changed directions in 1972. He became owner and operator of Power Grocery
Store.
In 1983 William "Buddy' Power's community called him to serve on the County Commission -
Precinct #2. William "Buddy" Power accepted and held the County Commission Seat outstandingly for
eleven years. In 1994 William "Buddy" Power was appointed Executive Director to The Power
Providers, A Way Out and Citizens Services Enterprise until he retired in 2001.
William "Buddy' Power has demonstrated his support for his community by serving as a Member,
Chairman and President of different committees over the years. The committees William "Buddy"
Powers served on covers a wide range of community involvement Some of these appointments were
offered to him by high ranking officials in the state of Texas.

William "Buddy" Power has been married to Diana Power for 31 years and they have three children
and six grand children.
William 'Buddy' Power served his country in the U. S. Army from 1961 - 1962.
William " Buddy" Power, along with the Power Family reside in Marshall, Texas. A community they
