Jack Hester - District 4
Jack was elected to his first term of City Commissioner in 2001 and began his 4th
term of City Commissioner in May of 2007.
Jack was born in Marshall, Texas and lived in Marshall, Texas the majority of his
life.
He went to school in Marshall, Texas and Orange, Texas.
Jack married Diann Camberen in 1966. Jack and Diann have two sons by the name
of Pat Hester and Kyle Hester. Pat Hester is the principal of R. L. Turner High School in
Carrollton, Texas and Kyle Hester is a Technician at Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. Jack
and Diann have two grand daughters and one grandson.. Jack and Diann also, have a Malamute and a
Golden Retriever whom he considers a very big part of his family.
Jack is Mayor Pro Tem and was elected to this position by the City
Commissioners. He also serves on other boards.

3. Board of Directors and First Vice President of the Boys and
Girls Club in Harrison County.
3. Board of Directors of ABC Auto Parts
( Jack also worked for ABC Auto Parts for 30 years.)
5. Hesco Rental Properties is an entity of the Hester
Family.
Jack enjoys Interim Music Directing, planning and leading church anniversaries
and revivals for many church's around the East Texas area. Jack is a veteran of the United States
Armed Forces and served his country doing the Korean War.
