The City of Marshall Public Works Department provides many services to the community in which we live.  The responsibilities of Public Works are distributed among 4 divisions:  Engineering, Sanitation, Street Department, and Water Utilities.  The Public Works Department is staffed with a trained work force of approximately 72 employees under the leadership of Brian Breeding, Director of Public Works.   

• To provide prompt, courteous, and dependable service to all citizens of the community.
• To improve the quality of services provided by each division of the Public Works Department.
• To improve livability through clean, well maintained, and efficient streets and water utilities.
• To provide the atmosphere and working environment which encourages all employees to fully develop all their abilities & talents.
