Special Response Team
"SRT"
Marshall Police Department’s Special Response Team, or “SRT”, is comprised of
14 members of the Marshall Police Department who also work as Patrol Supervisors, Patrol Officers,
Detectives, or Motorcycle Patrol Officers. “SRT” is tasked with responding to serve high risk
search and arrest warrants, barricaded suspects, hostage situations, or any situation that requires
the use of “SRT”. SRT is led by Team Commander Lt. Patrick Clayton and Team Leader Sgt. Len
Ames. SRT members train on a regular basis to hone the skills necessary to perform the duties
of the team.
