The Marshall Public Library was established in December 1969 as a department of the City of Marshall to “meet the recreational and educational needs of the residents of the City of Marshall” and has been an accredited member of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) since 1971. Today, the library is dedicated to its mission of “enriching, empowering, and educating our community through exemplary services, exceptional resources, and engaging programs”.

Wednesday and Friday
10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
