The mission of the City Attorney’s office is to preserve the interests of the Citizens of Marshall  through diligent legal representation to and for the City of Marshall. The City Attorney provides representation on a case by case basis to the City of Marshall and its officers and employees in regard to official city business.

The City Of Marshall City Attorney's Office provides legal guidance and support for elected City officials, City departments, boards and commissions in the conduct of City business. The City Attorney represents the City before judicial and administrative agencies in civil litigation proceedings, and prosecutes all traffic and Class "C" misdemeanor violations occurring in the city of Marshall, Texas.
