Lisa Agnor has been the City Secretary of Marshall, Texas
since January 2003. Ms. Agnor also serves as the City’s Finance
Director.
The City Secretary records the
City Commission Minutes
, of the
regular sessions held on the second and fourth Thursday of each
month
at 6:30 p.m. and the minutes for the Special City Commission
Meetings.
The
City Commission Meeting Agendas
are available
in the City Secretary’s office on Tuesday before each regular
meeting.
Citizens wishing to know who their Commissioners are may
obtain that information by calling the City Secretary's Office.
The City Secretary’s office records, certifies, preserves,
manages
and makes accessible sufficient information to ensure continuity
in
government and the documented accountability of the City of
Marshall
policies, functions, and transactions in order to protect both
the
legal and financial rights of the citizens of the City. The
City
Secretary’s office also provides information to the public and
helps
the public locate government information maintained by and for
the
City in accordance with requirements established by law and by City
Charter.

available on-line.
All municipal elections ordered by the City Commission are
administered
by the City Secretary. Any inquiries relating to local
elections, i.e.,
application for place on the ballot, voting district information,
etc.
