A Message from the Mayor
On behalf of the Marshall City Commission and the City of Marshall, I would like to welcome you to the City of Marshall’s web site. Marshall is a town of 24,000 people in East Texas. We are located at Interstate 20, which is one of the major east-west interstate highway routes across the southern part of the United States, and U.S. Highway 59, which is a major north-south highway between Mexico and the Texas Gulf Coast to the south of Marshall and the Central United States to the north of Marshall.
The City of Marshall offers a full range of municipal services. We have well trained and highly qualified Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Service Departments that are fully prepared to respond to any type of emergency. A full-service library is available to our citizens. The City operates a comprehensive park system that includes a ten-field ball complex, several neighborhood parks, a public swimming pool, a horse arena, two fishing ponds, and a nine hole golf course. Our Public Works and Water Utilities Departments manage a full range of municipal infrastructure services.
Many municipal services have to be available 24 hours a day. This web site gives you 24 hour access to on-line information about Marshall and municipal services in Marshall. We have strived to design the web site to make it as easy as possible for you to learn about the City of Marshall and gain access to information about city services.
If you cannot find information you are looking for on the web site, I encourage you to contact City Hall at the contacts provided on the web site, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or at 903-935-4421. Our primary goal at all times is to serve our citizens, and we will be happy to assist you.
Again, welcome to the City of Marshall’s web site.
